Gaiting in Field

As far as a personality goes, there is one word that keeps coming up - sweet! This molly has a top notch mind and a kind heart, all wrapped up in a very pretty package. She’s well-mannered and confident, is very easy to catch, is a real “people mule” and has no preference for men, women or children - she’ll like anyone, as long as they are paying attention to her. Clementine/Snickers is every bit as easy to handle on the ground as she is in the saddle, and just plain pleasant to be around. Everyone will appreciate the ease at which you can mount this molly. She’s big and stout, but that doesn’t matter because she not only stands like a statue for regular mounting, but she also parks out! Clementine/Snickers stretches right out, lowering her back by several inches, plus she waits to break that park until her rider signals her to back up. It’s like carrying your own mounting block PLUS emergency brake all in one!

Once you’re in the saddle, you’ll want to hit the trails. Although she’ll be hoping you want to go fast, so she can show off her big motor, all that speed and performance is for when YOU want it, and she doesn’t get fired up or antsy about turning it on, or turning it off. Cattle, creeks, dogs, deer, tractors and the UPS truck are all “no big deal” to her. We haven’t found anything that spooks or upsets her - and we’ve tried! She takes everything in stride, will go well without spurs, and is kind enough to handle a beginner or a nervous rider without taking advantage. In addition to being able to gait smoothly at a good clip, Snickers just doesn’t wear out. She’s that coveted “all-day” ride that field trialers, hunters and ride-campers dream of having! She moves nicely through her gait progression, starting at a comfortable, ground-covering flat walk. Then, when you ask for speed, she has a nice, smooth running walk - complete with relaxed head-nod/ear flop. If you feel the need for more speed, let her out all the way! She’s got a great rack that’s a lot of fun to ride! Clementine/Snickers has been a real favorite around here at Missouri Mule Co. We have a LOT of YouTube video of her strutting her stuff that we’ve just put up, so if you’re still looking to wring some more fun out of the fall riding season, you might want to check her out. Ones like this girl get grabbed up pretty fast.
