I hope you review all the movies below. They speak volumes about the comfort, safety and enjoyment of riding Boulder City. If your family member is moving into a new, fun and exciting territory riding with you. Or if the mule you seek is for your safety and enjoyment take Boulder on the trail. I factor many points into the equation as to the safety of a mule to a buyer. No doubt personal pleasure and safety is of great value to you when considering a mule from Missouri Mule Company. I haven’t all the facts about the riding ability or the terrain Boulder will encounter at your home. For this reason I have put Bolder to many extremes. He has preformed admirably in all situations. He has the power and stamina to continue where most equines would fail. He is a surefooted sort of mule. When considering the worth of a mount, his varying experience is of utmost concern. The more they have seen the less new there is to work through. Bolder has seen a lot both in back country trail and in heaver traffic areas like county roads. Although that is important another area goes unnoticed at times. It is how an animal responds to new stimuli. An equine that has seen it all, except one frightening thing, has the advantage, but only if he has proved a reduced fright and no flight to all frightful things came before. Then, as it always happens, that unknown pops up coming down the trail. If you have a safe mount you can be confident he is not going to run you under a tree limb, through a barbwire fence or into the path of an oncoming truck. After riding Boulder I have experienced his response to the unknown. He usually stands and considers the fright and works through it. Just as importantly, his flight is limited to a few side steps. This response comes from the Jack Ass side of the family. It is the trait that presents itself as the “safety of a mule” most onlookers observe.
As serious riders we use our peripheral awareness to prepare for anything peculiar closing on us as well as the extreme riding conditions we are pushing our mounts into. We are aware and seated for the event. It is our unseasoned friends that must have mounts like Bolder City to keep them mounted safely in the saddles at times like these.
I consider Bolder City a safe mount for you and yours. I would encourage your consideration of him in make a lifelong companion for your family and friends.
