Ruthie is well-versed in the R’s-- road AND ring! She has a huge motor and can practically rack a hole in the wind.  She’s fast, and she knows she’s fast-- Ruthie really likes road riding so she can hear her hooves as she blazes down the blacktop!  Ruthie may be fast as fast can be, but she also has a great handle on her-- so great, in fact, she has an extensive show record with lots of wins to her name.  She’s got those power steering and brakes that everyone wants- she’s got a great stop, she’s a smooth ride at every speed.

Ruthie doesn’t mind the trail obstacles or traffic.  Turkeys, deer, tractors and school busses don’t upset her. She’s got a strong confidence in herself and her abilities.  She even “parks out” for mounting to make people with old bones or short legs happy. You can ride Ruthie fast, but if you need to slow things down you don’t have to worry about her staying all fired up or being overly excited.  She comes right down, and keeps her mind on business.

Although many mules seem to prefer either men or women, Ruthie’s not picky.  If you’ve got a pulse and can fog up a mirror, she’ll like you. Friendly and sweet, it’s as though her motto is “A stranger is just a friend I haven’t met yet.” She’ll catch YOU in the pasture-- after all, you might be there to take her out and show her a good time!  This personality plus makes her easy to handle, tack and do feet.  Rub her ears, and she’s putty in your hands.  She seems to be looking for someone to love-- or several someones!
